Is your front wiper no longer working, stopping mid-sweep or failing to return to its park position? The motor is usually to blame. This new aftermarket front wiper motor, equivalent to original reference 8AP025, is a direct replacement for the part fitted to Aixam minicars from the Impulsion and Vision ranges, 2010 to 2015, as well as the Minauto and Cross Minauto from the same period.
How to check it fits your minicar
The safest way is to start from your vehicle: find its type code (for example VLGSV43RF for a City, or VLGSV43BF / VLGSV43CF for a Minauto) on the registration document or the manufacturer’s plate, and look it up in the compatible models table below. Is your Aixam from a different generation? Front motor: 8K025 (1997-2009), 8AP025 (2010-2015), 820BF025 (from 2016). Rear motor: 8H065 (1997-2009), 8AP065 (2010-2015), 821BF065 (from 2016).
Signs of a faulty wiper motor
- The wiper blades no longer move, even though the fuse is fine.
- Wiping is slow or irregular, or only one speed works.
- The blades stop in the middle of the windscreen.
- The motor hums but nothing moves.
